* AlgaBoost (1000x) Walnes is a sterile 1000x concentrate of Walnes medium for culture of marine microalgae.

* Makes:

9,990 litres seawater + 10 litre 1000x Part A + 10 ml 1,000,000x Part B = 10,000 litres Walnes

* Nutrient Balance: When added to freshwater according to the accompanying instructions, the combined parts of this formulation will provide the following nutrient levels:

* To Make Walnes: Pour 1 litre from the 10 litre drum (Part A) into a sterile culture bag. Add 1000 litres of sterile freshwater and mix thoroughly. Add 1 ml from the 10 ml syringe (Part B) and mix thoroughly. Now you've got 1000 litres of silicate-free Walnes

* Can I use it with diatoms ?:The exclusion of silicate from our Walnes 1000x concentrate means it is unsuitable for use with diatoms (unless you add silicate to your seawater yourself).

* Formulation: With the exception of silicate, our formulation of Walnes makes the same medium described by the CCAP.

* Perfect for carboy-scale & bag-scale microalgae culture.

* Product Conditioning: contents of the 10 litre drum and the 10 ml syringe, are 0.2 micron filtered.
